A lettering piece for Design Cuts featuring an inspirational quote. I drew an hourglass that was inspired by my low poly Zelda piece and drew the lettering on top of it after. Initially, I wanted more video game-inspired elements and began with pixel lettering, but scrapped it for a more elegant style. Instead of making a literal art piece, I went with a heart hourglass being filled with paint. I added some art tools in the paint above to make it more literal.
